This is an encapsulated silicone prosthetic that I made for the indie film Violent Starr which will be out in 2019. The cyborg-scar is designed to be added to one of the alien species but works just as well on puny earthlings! It is so amazing to see a person transform into a monster that moves naturally. The silicone stretches perfectly just like real skin. It even feels like real skin! PLEASE NOTE: when ordering, please select what base color you'd like the prosthetics cast in. We offer, flesh-tone, white, black, brown, red, green and yellow. The appliances will need to be painted by you to match whatever your color scheme will be and the basic color. Custom blends and paint jobs are available upon request. TO APPLY APPLIANCES: The only things you need are: prosthetic adhesive (pros-aide or telesis), 99% alcohol to melt the thin edges to blend it into the skin, and some pros-aide cream to create small scales if you'd like to transition from the big silicone spikes into your skin. That is the technique we used on our models and the one we will be showing on our application tutorials. PAINTING APPLIANCES: Because these appliances come in a solid base color, you'll need to add some shading and highlights and then blend the colors into your skin. You can use any choice of alcohol activated make-up kit. I recommend using Skin Illustrator palettes, Skin Illustrator, Reel Creations, or Mehron liquid/airbrush paints to achieve a high level finish. We use only the highest quality silicone (the same stuff that is used in Hollywood creature and FX shops) and skin safe adhesives and paints. This piece comes with the main cyborg eye-scar piece as well as 3 smaller pieces that the wires insert into. The wires are also included in the kit.
