I have always loved trees and the crazy variety of shapes and textures they have. I love the personality that a lot of older trees have in particular. The ents from Tolkien's work have always been some of my favorite creatures and I will be doing a series of these as free standing sculptures as well as wall hangings like these. I offer this sculpture in 3 varieties: Weirwood Heart Tree (white) Painted (tan) Bronze Rusted Bronze Please note that there will be minor variations in the finish of the piece as every paint job comes out a little different and the rust is formed using an ageing acid on an iron coating and it forms random patterns that I have little control over. The piece is cast in durable polyurethane resin and come ready to hang. I drill a hole in the back so that you can hang it from a nail as well as include an adhesive strip if you prefer to go that route. Measures 7 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide.
